In the past: Jimmy catches Rene and M.E. hanging out and confronts M.E.'s parents about it. Rene wants to move back to Detroit and tells M.E they can't be friends anymore.

In the present, M.E. confronts her uncle Jimmy after a cross burns on their lawn. Davis informs M.E. that Jimmy's website has a hit list with Rene's name on it. Rene takes Jimmy to court and calls M.E. to the witness stand. In the past: M.E. and Colliar bring Rene a hamster to cheer her up, but it gets loose in the house. Jimmy and his partner pull Sarah over and threaten her and Rene's lives.
