One of the best animes I've seen (Includes Spoilers), 15 December 2002

Tetsuwan Birdy/Birdy the Mighty is pretty good. The story: An intergalactic police officer called Birdy accidentally killed a boy named Tsutomu, while trying to capture a criminal. To keep Tsutomu alive, Birdy's boss has her merged with Tsutomu. Needless to say, this make Tsutomu's life a nightmare. An excellent mixture of science fiction, drama, action, and humor makes this one of the best anime I've seen. There's a Batman-esquire tragic element to it as a flashback shows a someone close to Birdy getting killed as she was protecting Birdy as a kid, hence her motivation to see that Chirstella Revi (The main villainess of the anime and the boss who robot killed Violeen, the person close to Birdy). I'd give it 9.8 out of 10.
