Parents Guide for
Impostor (2001) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A couple is seen in bed. They are presumably naked, though all you see is bare backs, shoulders, and heads. They are kissing and are seen in different positions. There is no thrusting, though presumably they are having sex.

A man is seen naked in a shower. He is either shown from the waist up or with a cloudy part of the shower door covering his lower parts.

A woman is briefly seen breastfeeding her baby. She has her hand cupped over the lower part to hide her nipple and the baby's mouth, but a large part of her breast is still visible.

Violence & Gore

Many, many characters are shot and stabbed.

A man undergoes surgery without sedatives, and is shown rather graphically.

Many injured soldiers are shown in a hospital, bloody and dying.

Thousands of people are killed in a nuclear explosion.

Profanity

Fuck and shit are used several times. Small profanities such as "Christ," "damn," "hell," and "ass" used occasionally.

Some scenes of medical drugs being injected are shown.

Two characters briefly discuss "junkies."

A few characters smoke cigarettes.

A man is tortured. A video of a man being tortured is shown to a man about to undergo the same torture.
