A story of people and survival, 8 September 2006
Author: martin henry (martin-henry-1) from United Kingdom

Just watched this movie straight after "the day after tomorrow" and expected a low budget copy.

However, what was served up was a wonderfully written story of survival.

The Earth overnight drops into an Ice age and a cop,his girlfriend, his son, his ex-wife her new partner and some others try to reach safety.

Not everyone is nice or honourable and only a passing interest is made in government or science.

If you want special effects this is not the movie for you. This is a story about people without overdoing the Hollywood sugar.

Similar in some way to "Ice cold in Alex" though I only gave it 8.
