If This is a Dream, Then Please Don't Pinch Me !

It can't have been easy for Cameron Grant to fill Andrew Blake's shoes when the latter left Ultimate Pictures to form his own Studio A. Truth of the matter is that even though Grant was all but forced to continue the Blake soft focus, fashion spread style, he's usually more adept at creating and capturing genuinely erotic sex. Though more demure in scope than his better known FANTASY CHAMBER and DINNER PARTY (knockouts both), EROTIC VISIONS ranks as a true sleeper in his body of work. The plot (such as it is) amounts to little more than yet another seductive female voice-over extolling shallow philosophies on the nature of desires and fantasies but leads to a series of well-crafted carnal encounters sure to keep you up most of the night. The opener with Tammy Parks and Alec Metro going at it hot 'n' heavy while impossibly gorgeous Taylor St. Claire spies on them is hard to top (one of the steamiest sex scenes this reviewer has witnessed in some time) but Grant seems to have fun trying. The Jessica James/Jonathan Morgan coupling with fruit, chocolate sauce and whipped cream aside (hey, I'm on a diet !), most of the scenes range from good to great. I was impressed by full-lipped Olivia's latex-clad not-quite-solo sequence that's almost performance art in nature. Krista Maze, a personal favorite ever since EVERY WOMAN HAS A FANTASY 3, has probably never looked better than in her highly romantic but not slushy piano-top encounter with ageless Peter North. Fabulous lighting and wonderfully moody music add to the dreamy atmosphere that pervades the whole film, best illustrated by the visually arresting, eerie last scene with firebrand Roxanne Hall taking on Gerry Pike and Julian St. Jox. Grant shows considerably more imagination and ingenuity than the overrated and forever self-repeating Blake and this film should go a long way to convince viewers.

attractive actresses, but film lacks appeal

A series of vignettes featuring attractive actors and actresses, but the scenes, all of which end in facials, doesn't quite capture romantic eroticism. Alot has been made of the latex scene, but in fact it is more bizarre than arousing.

The pianist scene is fairly sensual, as is the voyeur scene which opens the movie, especially exciting are the close up oral shots of her being pleased.

Another Cameron Grant knockout!

Two of the best sequences are with Peter North and Krista Maze at the piano and the threesome with Jenteal, who is simply incredibly beautiful. The dungeon scene with Kia and Yvonne is very good too.
