Storyline

The Klingons, the original Star Trek race of warriors, are running out of resources. The only way to continue this proud race, they must conquer vast areas of resource-rich space and battle their adversaries. General Chang convinces Chancellor Gorkon to build a battle academy to defeat their longtime adversary, the United Federation of Planets. An academy lesson consists of Chang delivering a lecture followed by a simulated mission where cadets play a vital role during an important stage of a fictitious conflict between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. You play as a Klingon warrior training to command a warship, while the Klingons face civil war, planetary conquest, countless skirmishes, and even self-annihilation. Ravaging the cosmos in my B'rel Starship! Qapla!
23 October 2000 | by (Cocoa, Florida) – See all my reviews

This has got to be one of the most interactive and enjoyable games I have ever played, and after 20 years worth of games, there are lots! Not only does Klingon Academy compliment Star Trek 6 by 1. Giving us a back story, 2. Explains to us in the very end the what the undiscovered country was, and 3. We learn alot about how the Klingons got to the point they were at in Star Trek 6, by needing to forge an alliance with the Federation. The interface is very unique and although seems like it could be hard to grasp is incredibly easy. The graphics are highly crafted and the gameplay is superb. This is an instant must have for all Trek fans, and for all Klingons! This game is an instant classic. It has a multi-player feature as well as a battle simulator if you want to take on the Enterprise or any other Federation foe. Congrats to the makers of Klingon Academy for a job well done! Q'apla!
