Storyline

It has been a year since Curtis Craig was released from Greenwood sanitarium, where he has been through hell. All he wishes now is to live quiet, normal life: he has nice girlfriend, place to live and steady job at Wyntech Industries. However, lately it seems that Curtis is losing his sanity... or maybe someone tries to make him believe so: he sees and hears things which cannot be real, he suffers of psychotic episodes, nightmares and flashbacks, and if that was not enough - someone murders his co-workers in manner that only totally sick, psychotic mind could think of. Curtis suspects that Paul Warner, the corrupt and unscrupulous vice-president of Wyntech, is responsible to the current events and to his father's death which occurred many years ago. Unfortunately, both the obnoxious police officer assigned to the case and Curtis' psychiatrist believe he is lunatic, and would not listen to him. With no other alternative, Curtis starts investigating the murders, determined to prove both... Written by Optimus Prime

Trivia

Two complex sequences were scripted for the game, but both ended up cut for different reasons. One would've involved Curtis escaping from the mental hospital and the other would've involved Curtis swimming in a river in the alien world. The game developers lost access to the filming location where the chase sequence was going to be shot, and had no backup, so the scene got cut. The river scene was cut due to space limitations on the fifth disc and was never produced. See more »

Quotes

[Curtis is awakened by the telephone ring. He gets up and answers the phone]
Curtis Craig: Hello?
Rosalyn: Good morning, Mr. Craig. This is Rosalyn of WynTech. I've been asked to call everyone in your department and let you know we don't need you to come in today.
Curtis Craig: Why?
Rosalyn: The... there's been another murder, Mr. Craig.
Curtis Craig: Who? Who was that?
Rosalyn: I... I'm not in liberty to say, Mr. Craig.
Curtis Craig: [raising his voice] Goddamit, who? Who was that?
Rosalyn: It was Tom. Tom Ravell.

Great game, not so good as part 1
21 December 1998 | by (Castricum, Netherlands) – See all my reviews

A very freaky game, with beautiful graphics, I can not understand that the actor who played curtis, haven't played in more movies or tv-series. I think this is one of the best computer game stories i have ever seen in my live. The only thing I disliked was that there are so much locations. I had hoped that there was one great house so as in part one. Sorry my english isn't very good.
