Ryô Saeba is a private eye known as the "City Hunter" who likes to be hired by beautiful girls. One day, his associate, Hideyuki Makimura, is murdered. Ryô has to take care of Hideyuki's sister, Kaori, who becomes his new partner. However, Kaori is much more jealous and often hits him with a giant hammer.
