"They never address that Carrie had a sister in 'Sex and The City,' but in the books there's actually two sisters, and Dorrit is one of them," actress Stefania Owen (formerly of the Keri Russell and Will Arnett Fox sitcom, "Running Wilde") told Access Hollywood during a recent visit to the show's set.

What We Can Expect From 'Girls' Season Two Fashion

28 December 2012 7:29 AM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

It's no secret that the 20-something hipster/high-end fashion on Girls is an integral part of the HBO hit, and now the show's creative designer Jenn Rogien -- who's been responsible for each of the four main characters' distinct looks since season one -- is dishing on what we can expect from the show's highly anticipated season two.

"We're going to continue with some of the things we started [in season 1]. You'll see a lot of flats and Bass loafers on Hannah [played by Lena Dunham]," Rogien tells Wwd.

Related: 'Girls' Costume Designer on Hannah's Evolving Style

Rogien seems to be particularly focused on the characters' shoes for next season, particularly Shoshanna's [played by Zosia Mamet] choice of footwear.

"Shoshanna will wear shoes with pops of color -- lots of pink," she dishes. "I really feel like shoes affect how an actor stands, how they feel and how they walk. Even if you don't see it on the screen, it's a big part of the character and it »

Proof: Sex and the City Was Just One Long Segue

27 December 2012 11:15 AM, PST | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

Now here's a late Christmas miracle: proof positive, via a painstakingly clever supercut, that Sex and the City was basically one neverending series of segues. If the endless barrage of cringe-worthy puns over brunch after brunch wasn't enough to remind you that the show may as well have been written by aging Borscht Belt stars, this might just do the trick. »

After an interesting — though lackluster overall — fall season of new broadcast TV, networks are set to unleash their midseason series.

What’s worth watching in that new crop of comedies and dramas? The sad truth: not much.

Luckily, I’m here to talk you through the best and the worst series that are poised to appear on your tube in the coming months — your DVR can only hold so much. Here’s your guide to what you should check out and those shows you should ignore:

Most Promising

1. The CW’s The Carrie Diaries (Premiere: Jan. 14 at 8 p.m. Est/5 p.m. Pst)

HBO’s hit series Sex and the City may have ended in 2004, but fashion and big dreams are still in vogue in The Carrie Diaries. Doe-eyed AnnaSophia Robb portrays the high school version of Carrie Bradshaw, the role that secured Sarah Jessica Parker »

12 Days of Christmas: Five Fun Facts About "Deck the Halls"

23 December 2012 5:15 AM, PST | TooFab | See recent TooFab news »

The holidays are finally upon us, and in celebration we're posting five fun facts about our favorite festive flicks!Today's featured film is "Deck the Halls" (2006).1. The Christmas light display on Danny Devito's house could not be possible with traditional Christmas lights. Instead, Led lights were used. But in real life, the display would not be visible from space as depicted in the film -- there's too much pollution.2. Alternate titles for the film included "All Lit Up" and "Wreck the Halls."3. "Deck the Halls" was one of Cory Monteith's earliest films. He played Madison's (Alia Shawkat's) date. He would later go on to play Finn in "Glee."4. Matthew Broderick spent months training at Chelsea Piers in New York City to prepare for the speedskating race scene.5. Kristin Davis played Matthew Broderick's wife in the film. Good morning!

Ufc President Dana White praised fighter Liz Carmouche for coming out like she did:

I love what she did. I know I have the big ‘homophobe' persona and people think I'm some homophobe. I'm the furthest thing from it. I think it's ridiculous it's 2013 and the government tells two people they can't marry each other. Who is the government to tell two people who say they love each other they can't be married? It's ridiculous .… I applaud that she came out and that she's the first one. Good for her. I hope more do. It doesn't bother me one bit. Shouldn't bother anyone else either.

"Breathe In" co-stars Amy Ryan ("Gone Baby Gone," "The Wire") and Kyle MacLachlan ("Sex and the City," "Twin Peaks"), and is written by Doremus and his "Like Crazy" screenwriting collaborator Ben York Jones. Ms. Jones also toplined Doremus' last film, "Like Crazy," which generated serious buzz out of Sundance 2011, despite coming up short on box office and the awards circuit the following fall. ‘Gossip Girl’ Series Finale Pays Homage To ‘Sex And The City’

18 December 2012 11:24 AM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

The use of the song 'You've Got The Love' in the final scene of 'Gossip Girl's' series finale reminded me of the final scene of 'Sex and the City' because they used the very same song! Not only did Gossip Girl feel like a continuation of Sex and the City in the respect that both series told a romantic story in New York City, but the series finale on Dec. 17 paid homage to the more grown-up series that came before it! As the final scene of Gossip Girl started rolling, I couldn't help but feel like I was being transported back into the mindset I had when I first watched Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) reunite with her girlfriends after a failed trip to Paris on the series finale of Sex and the City! I quickly realized it was because Gg used the same song that SatC used during its finale scene. »

Blu-ray: HBO’s Girls: A raw, honest cavalcade of emotional foibles

17 December 2012 6:01 AM, PST | BuzzFocus.com | See recent BuzzFocus.com news »

HBO’s Girls, created by and starring Lena Dunham, is a smart and boisterous take on four 20’s women navigating their way through New York City’s treacherous emotional landscape. It’s a cavalcade of awkward humor and misbegotten decisions that all seem “right” in the moment. Flirting with your older, married boss may give you a few fleeting laughs, but that’s only until he shows up at a party with a bottle of wine hoping for an intimate evening. Then, there are those unfortunate incidents where an innocent girl accidentally smokes crack and ends up running through Williamsburg half naked. Sure, reality is bent and heightened at times for comedic effect, but these Girls are truth. This freshman season is filled with nonstop fem-foibles that only get funnier with each viewing.

The Blu-ray release collects the ten episode series and bundles it with a few fun bonus features »
