At a loss for what to watch this week? From new DVDs and Blu-rays, to what's new on Netflix and TV, we've got you covered.

TV Worth Watching

"The Good Wife" (Sunday on CBS at 9 p.m.)

This is it. The end of an era. After seven seasons of heartbreak (she'll always love you, Will!), headaches, incredibly sharp writing, and powerful performances from Julianna Margulies down to the many amazing guest stars, Alicia Florrick's story is coming to an end on May 8. The series finale, appropriately titled "End," was written by showrunners Robert and Michelle King, and directed by Robert King. Margulies told Entertainment Weekly the finale will be "satisfying, uplifting and sad." The showrunners have Not shot down that Josh Charles return rumor, so here's hoping for some kind of flashback/vision/cameo/thing. Also, here's hoping for more of this, from Alicia and Jason:

Film Review: ‘Miss Sharon Jones!’

18 March 2016 3:56 PM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

“Miss Sharon Jones?” Though the actual title for the soul singer’s soul-bearing docu-portrait ends with an emphatic, life-affirming exclamation point, audiences could be forgiven for phrasing it as a question instead: Just who is this tiny musical dynamo, who finds the energy not only to thrash and shimmy like a pint-sized Tina Turner on-stage but also to battle it out with pancreatic cancer behind the scenes — and more importantly, why haven’t we heard of her before?

For those who know Jones’ work as the just-shy-of-five-foot frontwoman for Brooklyn-based funk ensemble the Dap-Kings, director Barbara Kopple’s latest femme-powerment film anthem will be a delight. And for the many who don’t, the discovery proves an even greater pleasure, offering an intimate glimpse at the fighting spirit that defines one of America’s great unsung rhythm artists.

Actually, “diva” is the term Jones seems to get most, though the »

Melissa McCarthy on 'SNL': 3 Sketches You Have to See

14 February 2016 7:00 AM, PST | Rollingstone.com | See recent Rolling Stone news »

Melissa McCarthy returned for her fourth time as host at Saturday Night Live, and deservedly so: She's one of a handful of people that essentially has an open invite to come on whenever she feels like it, with a skill set perfectly equipped to engage with the cast and also put entire sketches on her back when the need arises.

So it was interesting, in a bad way, to see her more or less recede to the background in last night's installment. It's not that McCarthy did a bad job, »

Film Review: ‘Michael Jackson’s Journey From Motown to Off the Wall’

5 February 2016 1:14 PM, PST | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Nearly seven years after Michael Jackson’s premature passing, the world has probably gleaned as much as it ever will about the personal, physical and sexual curiosities of the posthumously reigning King of Pop; his enduringly influential artistry, however, remains ripe for renewed appreciation and appraisal. Leading the charge on this front is Spike Lee, who brings evidently profound personal affection and diligent research instincts to the inelegantly but self-explanatorily titled “Michael Jackson’s Journey From Motown to Off to Wall.” Corraling a wealth of talking heads — ranging from family members to essential collaborators to Rosie Perez — to examine Jackson’s transition from preternatural boy-band member to supernatural solo star, this bouncily entertaining doc may boast only a notch more formal ambition than a very well-assembled “Behind the Music” special, but is no less essential than Lee’s first Mj opus, the excellent “Bad 25.”

Sanam Teri Kasam – The Story Behind the Music

2 January 2016 5:21 AM, PST | Bollyspice | See recent Bollyspice news »

The forthcoming intense love story from Eros International Sanam Teri Kasam, has already received praises for its music. The film has been directed by the talented duo of Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao and has debutants Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane in the lead roles. The films music has been composed by the multi-talented Himesh Reshammiya. Himesh’s last successful album was the super hit music of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The music of Prdp was naturally very traditional, and his music in Sanam Teri Kasam is romantic and modern which is almost the complete opposite, thus showcasing his versatility as a Music Director. Two songs from the album have already released which are the title track and ‘Kheench Meri Photo’. Eros Now have recently released a video with the films directors, actors and singers Palak Muchhal and Ankit Tiwari, who talk about how the beautiful title track came together. »
