Damon made headlines for controversial comments he made regarding sexual misconduct during a Thursday interview with ABC News' Peter Travers, sparking a serious response from the former Charmed star.

"Dear Matt Damon, It’s the micro that makes the macro," Milano, 44, tweeted on Friday. "We are in a 'culture of outrage' because the magnitude of rage is, in fact, overtly outrageous. And it is righteous."

"I have been a victim of each component of the sexual assault spectrum of which you speak. They all hurt," she continued. "And they are all connected to a patriarchy intertwined with normalized, accepted--even welcomed-- misogyny. We are not outraged because someone grabbed our asses in a picture. We are outraged because we were made to feel this was normal. We are outraged because we have been gaslighted. We are outraged because we were silenced for so long."

Dustin Hoffman Accused of Exposing Himself to a Minor, Assaulting Two Women (Exclusive)
Cori Thomas was in high school when she says Dustin Hoffman exposed himself to her in a hotel room. Melissa Kester was a recent college graduate when Hoffman allegedly sexually assaulted her while recording audio for the film “Ishtar.” A third woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said that Hoffman assaulted her in the back of a station wagon and manipulated her into a subsequent sexual encounter that left her traumatized.

Speaking to Variety, the women described predatory incidents involving Hoffman that fit into a pattern of alleged behavior that has emerged in the wake of previous sexual-misconduct claims against the now 80-year-old actor.

Representatives for Hoffman did not make him available to provide comment for this story. In a letter to Variety’s owner Penske Media Corp., Hoffman’s attorney Mark A. Neubauer of Carlton Fields Jordan Burt called the accusations against the actor “defamatory falsehoods.”

Guthrie and fellow Today anchor Hoda Kotb sat down with Alyssa Milano and "#MeToo" movement creator Tarana Burke on Tuesday about sharing the title of Time's "Person of the Year" with other women -- such as Taylor Swift, Rose McGowan, Megyn Kelly and Ashley Judd -- for sharing their stories of sexual harassment and sexual assault.

Given the subject matter, Guthrie's mind appeared to be on her former co-anchor Matt Lauer, who was fired last Wednesday for "inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace."

Recently, the folks over at Deadline recently put out a report revealing that ABC is so pleased with the way the current season 14 is going that they decided to extend it! That's right. Apparently, ABC only originally ordered 22 episodes for this season, but now they've bumped that number up to a full 24. That means you guys can expect to get an additional two more episodes before this season is over. How do you guys feel about that? We're sure most of you are ecstatic about it. In addition to ABC extending out Grey's Anatomy's 14th season, Deadline also reported that ABC gave their hit comedy series "Black-ish" another two episodes, and they gave their show American Housewife another two episodes. Recently, the folks over at Entertainment Weekly put out a new article revealing that the show has hired former"One Tree Hill" actress Bethany Joy Lenz. If any of you were "One Tree Hill" fans, you'll remember her as the one who played character Haley James Scott on that show. Entertainment Weekly pointed out that this new casting comes just after they got rid of season regular Martin Henderson aka Dr. Nathan Riggs. Bethany is scheduled to just be a guest character on Grey's Anatomy. So, it doesn't sound like she'll be sticking around for long. She might come in and do an arc that spans a few episodes and then head out. But, who knows? Anything can happen. She might stick around the whole season if they decide its better for the show.
