In this day and age of television, it’s really hard to think that you can seriously put together a recipe for success, especially looking back just a few years on all the times you might have thought you’d managed it, but TNT may be about as close as you can get with Legends.
The show is set to hit in 2014, and TNT has ordered 10 episodes. If you were forced to make a prediction, I don’t see how you’d bet against this one. At least, if you’re looking at the show being good. Being popular is another thing altogether.
With Sean Bean starring, and based on a Robert Littell’s work, you’re already solid out of the gates. Throw in a pretty solid line-up behind the scenes, and an interesting supporting cast (see full details below), and this one should be a hit. I’m »

TV veteran Danny Woodburn, of Seinfeld, Bones, Conan, Baywatch, Jingle All The Way, Becker and Charmed fame, has been hired as Master Splinter in Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Woodburn joins an almost fully formed cast that stars Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher and Will Arnett. Alan Ritchson got to chatting about the movie and claims that nobody knows what it’s going to be about, and they shouldn’t prejudge it. Here’s what he said:
“We are shooting. It’s been an interesting process, this live-action-motion-capture thing. There’s just a lot of technology involved so there’s some kinks to work out. So we’ve had some trial runs, we’ve started shooting some. We’re also in this phase right now that is sort of developmental….We’re learning a lot of the fight choreography. We’ve got these »

Brenda Walsh is far from her High School drama days!Shannen Doherty turns 42 years old today -- can you believe it's been almost 20 years since she appeared on "Beverly Hills, 90210"?Since working on the popular soap, Shannen went on to star on a slew of TV movies and shows like "Charmed," "North Shore" and Aaron Spelling soap's CW reboot, "90210" where she reprised her role as (the much older) Brenda Walsh. Aside from her career, Doherty's also had a pretty active love life! In 1993 she tied the knot with actor Ashley Hamilton (the two divorced in 1994), in 2002 she wed and later annulled "1 Night in Paris" star Rick Salomon and in 2011 she married producer Kurt Iswarienko .. the two are still together. No matter what role she plays, we'll always see Shannen as the little midwestern brunette in Beverly Hills!Have her cast mates fared as well since appearing on the well-known drama? »

Big dogs of both human and fanged varieties played big parts in this week's episode. Let's jump right in!
We start the episode running through the woods at ground level - either I'm rewatching Evil Dead, or we're in one of Bran's kooky dreams again.
Sure enough, Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) - who can walk in his dreams, like the kid from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors - sees the Third Eye Blind Raven, and he tries to shoot it with Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) help. He misses. He hears Ned's voice, then some bratty kid who looks like a Muppet Baby version of Tate from American Horror Story shows up to tell him that he can't kill the raven because the raven is Him. Is this like that "one set of footprints" thing?
Hey - speaking of Brandon Stark, it's time to catch up on »

With the arrival of Spring Breakers imminent, Nick looks at seven former child stars who've gone on to enjoy film careers as grown-ups...
Making a name for yourself while young is definitely an appealing way to get into the acting business, for pushy parents and wannabe stars alike. The pros are obvious – fame and fortune at a young age, established links with the industry, and an early chance to make your mark. But for many, being a child star is the only thing they know, and once adulthood comes around, there goes the career.
Options can become limited once you’ve gone past your cute sell by date (just ask Macaulay Culkin), so is it any wonder that Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson have decided to explode their child star image by starring in boundary pushing and very adult Spring Breakers? »

It looks like our summer is shaping up very nicely, thanks to some excellent scheduling by The Powers That Be. At least our weekends will be taken care of. True Blood will almost certainly return in its usual Sunday at 9/8c slot, so there’s Sunday sorted. We told you earlier today that Zero Hour will be airing Saturdays at 8/7c, which fits in perfectly with this latest scheduling announcement: Primeval: New World will be airing Saturdays at 9/8c, followed by Sinbad at 10/9c on Syfy.
You may recall that we told you about the Syfy pickup of Primeval: New World back in October. You’ll recognize it as a spinoff from the original Primeval which aired here originally on BBC America. You’ll also recognize the star, Niall Matter, as Zane from the late great Eureka. Primeval: New World is another series acquired by Syfy from our pals up in Canada, »

Rose McGowan played one of TV's most iconic witches on The CW's Charmed, and now, 7 years later, she's getting back on the broom (metaphorically speaking) to bring Young Cora to life on Sunday's all-new episode of Once Upon A Time.
The episode, titled The Miller's Daughter, not only reveals her long history with Rumple, but how Cora became the powerful witch she is today. ETonline caught up with McGowan to talk about her TV return, how it felt to be working against a greenscreen again and what's been the most lovely side-effect of playing Paige Matthews.
ETonline: Were you previously a fan of the show?
Rose McGowan: I had seen the show, but not been able to follow it because of traveling. Ginnifer Goodwin owns my old house, so we've always been friendly -- then the creators, invited me into their office and asked if I'd ever consider doing something on their show, and I wanted »
