A Collection of Essanay Films

In the same way that 'Charlie Chaplin Cavalcade' was a compilation of Chaplin's 'Mutual Films' two reelers, 'Essanay-Chaplin Revue of 1916 was a compilation of his Essanay work. As he plays the tramp in all of his films and emulates the pathos of his early childhood, the quality of the compilations were not as comparable to the Mutual Films.
