Storyline

Ordered to stay away from Delhi's border for several years, two convicts, Kishan and Kanhaiya, decide to hitch a ride through a goods train to Bombay. While on this train, they come to the rescue of an elderly male with a female child, Munni. On his last breath, the elderly male asks them to take care of Munni as millions of rupees are involved. Greed overtakes both and they take the child with them in order to locate her next of kin. Unable to find anyone they advertise in the newspapers, and demand a hefty sum from Veer Singh, who answered the advertisement. What Kishan and Kanhaiya don't know that is that officially Munni is already dead, along with her mother, and brother, purportedly killed by their father, Ranvir Singh, when he suspected his wife's fidelity. Kishan and Kanhaiya find themselves immersed in a web of lies and deceit as they try to fathom what the truth really is. But before they could get to the bottom of this matter, their lives themselves are under threat - by a ... Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)

Entertaining Masala film
2 November 2008 | by (London) – See all my reviews

I saw this film yesterday on youtube that somebody posted with the name mumbai 405 miles. I expected this to be a movie i will watch 15 minutes of and then skip it as their are 100s of movies to watch. This film got interesting after 10 minutes in fact. Amjad Khan is at his best again and Bollywood miss him as the classy villain. A classic actor that portrays a bad guy role very entertainingly. The film stars Vinod Khanna whom i was not that much a fan of but he did do some good acting in this film. Shutrungh Sinha is a actor i always hated apart from Amitabh movies he co starred in and Khudgarz. After watching this film, i have to be honest and say he can do comedy and is not that bad of a actor when he wants to be. Zeenat Aman is a talented actress and is very sexy and beautiful in this film. This film is like a comedy love triangle between the three stars, with a lot of humour, action and some good family melodrama added in. The movie is about the two thief buddies who find a little girl whom they consider will bring them fortune as she is a rich mans daughter and later bond with. This is a good film
