Grew up with this excellent short animation clip
22 December 2006 | by (India) – See all my reviews

I never expected this clip to be available on the Internet. This short animation clip produced by Doordarshan was ubiquitous during my childhood days. A strong message given by a widespread medium ensured its success. The animation is simple but endearing. Mind you this was during the times when there was no cable TV in India, no Cartoon Network, no Disney channel. The best thing about it was that it still stays in the heart of those who used to watch it on TV. Watching the clip after so many years brought back fond memories of getting up early on Sunday morning to watch cartoons on Doordarshan. I feel this clip should be distributed to all news channels and should be still played on TV.
