I was skeptical when I rented this movie since I watched the first Wishmaster and it wasn't all that good besides the cameos from Friday the 13ths Kane Hodder and A Nightmare on Elm Streets Robert Englund and the gore the original was a dissappointment. But the second one did me in I loved it. I think that the problem with the original is that it tried too hard to be scary and that it was a theatrical release. Wishmaster 2 Evil Never Dies proves that a sequel doesn't have to suck like many say. The special effects in this movie are spectacular especially in the final scene. If you want a good movie to give you a scare and a great plot line too then rent this direct to video wonder. Remember this one will change what you think about sequels and direct to video movies.
