Hi...

I love this film. I saw it years ago on TV, and afterwards I bought it on DVD. However I was deeply disappointed when I watched it on DVD...Specifically, when Ilona sings Gloomy Sunday, because there weren't any subtitles!

I mean, when I first saw it on TV, I could understand the song because it had subtitles and I was able to realize just how important those lyrics are for the film.

But now, I just can't understand the whole meaning of the song. My first language is Spanish, I also speak English and some French, but that's it...sadly. I know it’s no excuse ;-)

So I'm going to ask you a favor...please…

Could anyone translate the lyrics sung by Ilona into English for me, please? I've tried to find them, but all that I've been able to find are English lyrics for the song, but they are not the same ones I remember from the first time I saw this beautiful film.
