Family fare.
cohuman12 December 2022
Three sisters Subha ,Srividya and Jayabharati live with their father in near penury . The only source of income is the eldest sister Shubha getting money from her teaching job . Rich single eligible bachelor Shivakumar has a bungalow nearby . He chances upon this family by coincidence and taken in by their simplicity and poverty , he invites them to rent his house for a mere 100.00 INR. All 4 are very grateful to him. Very soon he becomes a part of their family . Shivakumar is taken in by the chirpy chatty youngest daughter Jayabharati but he does not reveal his feelings till the other two get married. Srividya and the Shubha pine silently for Shivakumar but try to reveal their feelings indirectly . In the midst of all these walks in Kamal , Shivakumar's friend who is a rich slothy play boy. Jayabhrati's close friend Jayasudha reluctantly gets married to an older and very rich man - Poornam. Jayabharati and Kamal keep meeting and their paths cross often as she keeps chiding him for his philandering qualities. He keeps baiting her .she keeps evading. He manages to entice the very young and innocent wife Jayasudha to elope with him to Bangalore . Jayabharati comes to know this and entices Kamal so that he stops his sinful mission . Poornam and a remorseful Jayasudha reunite. Meanwhile both Srividya and Shubha realise that Shivakumar loves Jayabharati . Every one tries to reveal their feelings but don't for some or the other reason. Shubha ends up marrying his widower cook. Srividya marries another groom after some misgivings. Jayabharati gets married to a repentant Kamal in the end. Shivakumar remains unmarried . A fine family fare. All the main star cast rose to dizzy heights much later in their career. Some nice catchy songs add to the story line.
