In the biography on the film's director Vijay Anand
titled "Ek Hota Goldie," the writer Anita Padhye indicated that Anand and the film's financier Tolaram Jalan

(Vijay Anand's older brother), Asha Parekh
and music directors Shanker-Jaikishen.
