Why? Because it doesn't over hype itself like many others. All those cable news shows can't hold a dime to this one. They make good theater but have no substance. Ted Koppel is a good newsman who knows how to ask the right questions to his guests. He doesn't lob softballs like many other hosts have been known to do on other shows. The style he has is melancholy and informative. He reminds me of Bill Buckley and his famous show FIRING LINE. That's the way to deliver the goods. The topics on Nightline are the best and pertain to everyday life. There is no comedy here, just straight down the middle news information.
Bottom Line: Stick With Nightline
