documentary Walt Curtis - poss Spoiler
ksf-222 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
poss Spoiler -- too freaky to describe! This was included on Gus van Sant's "Mala Noche" DVD, which was written by Walt Curtis. This seems to be a documentary about the eccentric writer/poet reading his poems (some are just rants) anywhere and everywhere. This sometimes gets him in trouble, and we see the cops kicking him out of one venue. one of the works is an ode to his Plymouth Valient, which is held together by duct tape. There is nudity, close-ups of gay magazines, and a whole lot of profanity. At one point he says he hasn't had sex in 8 years, at another point, he claims its 10 years. Curtis delights in yelling out the names of body parts and bodily functions in public, and half the film takes place in a restaurants and bars, and other public places. Its also a bit of a tour of Oregon - some great outdoor scenery!
