A pretty but unstable young woman has a one-night stand with a man, but when she realizes that he doesn't want the long-term relationship that she does, she becomes unhinged and sets out to ruin his life.
Porn constitutes an extremely large barrel: not even counting the myriad of current internet porn providers there must be nearly a million porn films, videos or compilations created over the past 40 years. Virgin Hostage belongs near the bottom of that barrel.
For quick-buck reasons, two competing video companies have reissued this junker, there being no royalty payments to be made (Suzanne Fields' family is entitled to a fortune, never paid out by these latter day exploiters of her celluloid legacy). They shouldn't have bothered.
It's a one-day wonder, carelessly shot and edited. Purpose is to give the adult theaters, circa Deep Throat, a wall-to-wall hour of sex. Problem is that it is 100% unerotic, insulting to the audience from start to finish. Probably served as a chaser: designed to get rid of the vagrants who were hard to pry from their seats -this one would have had me heading for the exit back in the day.
Nonsensical action has 3 thugs on the lam commandeering an apartment to hide in for a few hours. Basically one guy dominates everybody else at gunpoint, forcing two female hostages, Suzanne Fields and an untalented blonde roommate, to have sex. Fields is miscast as the virgin of the title. After nearly an hour of disinterested sex acts, he is overpowered by a colleague, and a preposterous "happy ending" of the thugs calling the police to give themselves up (?!) is tossed in.
The non-actors don't even try to seem interested in the hardcore sex acts they are required to perform, and even Fields is hard to take, with no body makeup, looking at her worst. Two of the three guys on screen in this 25 years before Viagra era outing are incapable of attaining or maintaining an erection, so completely unmatched insert "money shots" are thrown in, one turning out to be a badly disguised flash forward of the third guy later achieving his climax. The ugly set notwithstanding, there's not much to look at here, mainly endless closeups of pumping sex organs. Improvised dialogue, trying to present a destitute man's version of Sade's PHILOSOPHY IN THE BEDROOM, is horrible.
I advise viewing of this drek be mandatory only for those misguided "historians" who are constantly wailing about how great porn was in the Golden Age of the '70s when theatrical films had stories, as opposed to today's video junk. They conveniently ignore the thousands of worthless vintage features like Virgin Hostage, which fail on all counts, including the aid-to-masturbation that is the Prime Directive of the millions of recent story-less offerings.
