Storyline

My parents owned a cafe in Ipswich Queensland. It was called Cafe Australia. During the war the cafe catered for American officers based at Amberly. I am their daughter and they often told me stories in relation to the war. Apparently there was a song written called "Pass the biscuits Marendy".On 04/04 there is a concert in Ipswich with a trip down memory lane called "Milk Bars and Bobby Socks" as it was at Marendys Greek Cafe.L shall be attending & if anyone has a copy of the song please let me know. Cheers Coula Marendy.
