What an amazing ambitious film that is so rich in characters, I've never seen an independent with such depth! Highly recommend this title! Frank Aragon is a very talented individual with a very bright future. His cast is amazing and his insight is truly spectacular, this story about a single mother hits home across many universal color lines. When a father is missing from a child life there are consequences to that and to the child, it was caught so well in this film, this definitely must have been the directors story because it was told so well. Alex Menses is a gem, a diamond in the rough because no one has discovered her talent like this until now. She is truly worthy of any recognition she gets.
