It's funnier if you understand Spanish a bit.

This is a Mister Magoo short released by UPA Studios. There will be spoilers ahead:

This is mis-titled, as at no point does Magoo ever actually become a matador (though what he does to the poor bull is almost as bad as what normally happens to a bullring).

Magoo, hopelessly lost, as usual, enters a sleepy little Mexican town believing he's on a highway. He drives into a bullring, disrupting the proceedings. The matador chews Magoo out in Spanish and some of what he says is quite funny. He isn't fond of Magoo, who believes the matador is some poor woman who has been in an accident.

Magoo briefly becomes the matador's cape (the cape work is reasonably decent, actually) and then Magoo does something evil, though with typical Magoo-like motivation. He covers the matador with his red cape and the poor man tries to run away from the bull, which collides with Magoo's car. Woe to the poor bull to be in Magoo's hands. The ending is actually fairly good.

The Magoo theatricals and a Magoo feature film have been released on DVD from Shout! Factory. The set is excellent and this short is very good.
