Unique, sensitive and powerful story
27 December 2001 | by (Seoul, Korea) – See all my reviews

'Arirang' means the title of a famous Korean folk song. The hero of this movie is a fool. He always smile without reason, even when other people laugh at him, or beat him. One day, He saw his sister being raped by evil Japanese policeman. He exploded the first rage in his life. He killed the policeman by a 'Nat'(a kind of traditional knife).
