13 episodes of straaaange humour

I will not lie. This show is weird. Extremely weird. They obviously don't take very long to write their sketches. That's why "Four on the Floor" is funny as hell!! (Actually, hell isn't very funny, but you get the idea:)

This is like a low-brow Canadian version of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" and all the sketches are really funny. Watch for a hockey team made up of a bunch of turtles, and a regular sketch called "Mr. Canoehead" about a man who became a superhero after being struck by lightning and having an aluminum canoe welded to his head. Also, "Wish You Were Ear," a story about Vincent van Gogh. The sketches are often pretty corny, but still a riot.

The songs are funny too. Some appear in more than one episode. All the songs are memorable and hilarious, like "I'm Rich, I'm White, I Love It," "Carsick," "I Sell Computers," and "Grade Three." The only song I don't really like so much is "Heavy Metal Shop."

A lot of people may not appreciate the Frantics' bizarre style of humour, but some of you may. Rick Green went on to play Bill on "The Red Green Show" for eight seasons.

It's too bad it only lasted one season, but perhaps that is understandable.
