As the various stores close at night, several mice sing "Let's Go Window Shopping" as they go to various closed stores to take in various canned goods and, of course, cheese. After all this eating, someone suggests ice skating so everyone goes to the nearest ice room where they all skate to their hearts content. As the sun comes back up, everyone of the mice take some food before getting out of the respective stores and customers start filing in as the day starts anew again...What I just described is pretty much what happens. As a result, there's lots of beautiful singing and some good ice dancing animation. This was a pretty amusing if a bit bland cartoon from Columbia Pictures. Worth a look for anyone interested in obscure animated shorts from the late '30s.
