One hundred years after their deaths, six legendary holy warriors are reborn to seek justice against the former comrade who betrayed them into the hands of an evil god! The six warriors search the feudal province of Edo questing for the last Saint Soldier, Haohmaru, and their sworn nemesis Shirou Amakusa. Will the followers of the divine light triumph over the forces of darkness, or is history destined to repeat itself? Are they serious?
11 February 1999 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

It's very hard to take this Anime seriously.

Weird tag-teams, a fat-guy rolling down a hill, white blood? If MST3K starts to do animated features, they should poke fun at this. I started to laugh so hard that I fell off my chair.

Warning: Unless you have pain-killers, do not watch this after going through some acute surgeries and operations.
