When Genevieve the Lamb doesn't show up in class, schoolmarm Bo Peep goes to renowned detective Krazy Kat to find her. Little do they suspect she is already in the Wolf's grasp!
The IMDb is a bit sparse on credits in this one, and the first thing I noticed was that neither Ben Harrison nor Manny Gould is credited on this one; they had shared responsibility for the KK series for a dozen years. Gould, however, would soon be off to Leon Schlesinger's cartoon factory, where in its many forms he would work for many years, mostly as an animator. instead, direction is credited to Allen Rose, who had worked for Harrison & Gould's unit for several years. He uses the studio's model sheet for Krazy, and he makes the Kat a lot whackier than the series had indicated for several years.
It wouldn't last. Within a couple of years, Rose would be off to work for the Fleischer cartoon factory. Movie cartooning was a nomadic existence.
