Trivia

Director John Huddles told producer 'Dan Grodnik' they shouldn't shoot the film in March especially in the hills because of the severe rains that were forecast. Grodnik said he only had a small window of availability for Minnie Driver and had to schedule the film for that time. Grodnik went on to tell Huddles not to worry about a little rain. One rainy afternoon Grodnik got a call from his line producer saying the weather had become impossible to shoot in. Grodnik told him to continue anyway. The line producer said he would like to but the grip truck just washed away down a gully. See more »

Brilliant: funny and thought-provoking
8 May 2001 | by (England) – See all my reviews

I saw this film recently in France, where it was released in 2001. I had no idea what to expect, but I was really surprised by how good it was. I found it very funny, the soundtrack was good and the performances by Rufus Sewell and Nigel Hawthorne were excellent. The film was a bit different from the usual 'Hollywood blockbusters' that I have come to expect from U.K cinemas, and it is a shame that it has not been released over here. I would love to get hold of a copy of the film, but it appears that it has not been released on video, which is also a crying shame.
