A fantastic performance.
1 December 2001 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Next to the Prince concert movie SIGN OF THE TIMES, this ranks with the best Prince performances available on video. Filmed on March 30, 1985 in Syracuse, New York, Prince (with the Revolution) performs his best songs of the period, including "1999", "When Doves Cry", "I would die for you", and culminating with perhaps the greatest ever performance of "Purple Rain", complete with a killer Prince guitar solo.

***1/2 out of ****.
