A charming film about various library cats around the country, including two lovely Scottish Folds who go by the names Baker & Taylor (the name of a well-known book distributor). Other cats bear names like Dewey and Decimal and Bookums, but they all share a sense of sleepy entitlement to reigning in their various bookish quarters. Among the titles held are: Librarian in Charge of Rodent Control, Marketing and Public Relations, and King. Also covered are cases of dispute about whether or not cats should be permitted when they prohibit use by those who suffer allergies or phobias. A tongue-in-cheek view of philosophical perspectives on library cats is also included.
