I love the fact that Hugh Herbert gets to tell his wife exactly what he thinks of her looks and lives to breathe another minute. Of course he has no idea that the blonde he's with IS his wife, having dyed her hair and catching him with another woman that he's entertaining on boss Dick Elliott's orders. Dumping the other woman (who ends up with silent comic Snub Pollard), Herbert prepares to take the blonde he's with out, setting his wife's plan for a justifiable revenge. The fact that just changing her hair color would cause him not to recognizable isn't a believable plot, but the way wife Christine McIntyre plays up to it (and rushes back and forth between the bedroom and living room, pretending to be two people) is very funny and with how the film ends also very romantic.
