A weird gangster comedy boasting with black humor and blood
24 October 2001 | by (Kassel, Germany) – See all my reviews

Four contract thieves end up with a hostage in their hands after a seemingly unfruitful break-in. However, more trouble is ahead. They are supposed to give back their share: 5 mio francs. It takes some twists in the plot, many deaths and some treachery until finally the bad guys sink into the grave and the good ones get the big share....

It is amazing to see how the four main characters make a survival throughout the film - save for one. I was most sorry to see how Ulysses died, though he died as he demanded others to do: as a man, taking his arch enemy out first.

If you like this kind of film, as I do, you'll see it twice, as I did. And the soundtrack is a treat!
