Terminally bad Italian thriller

HIGH RISK is a terminally bad Italian crime thriller only one step above a typical shot on video indie. It was made in Turkey with a no-name cast and really does show how far the genre had fallen since the glory days of the 1970s. The worst thing about this isn't the mindlessness of the story or the near-unwatchable look of the film, but the fact that it was directed by Stelvio Massi, quite rightly hiding behind the pseudonym of Max Steel. Massi wasn't one of Italy's best genre directors but at least he had a stab at semi-decent stuff in the 1970s, so watching his pitiful work here's a real shame. I can't describe the story as I have no idea what was going on, but there's barely any action, just a dated technology plot and a great deal of listlessness.
