Over (and off) the wall!
ulicknormanowen26 October 2023
Privates, doing their military service on an air base are part of the ground crew and are given the most humiliating fatigue duties ; their dream is to become pilots to fly up above the sky so high.... But they're always denied their wish by their despising superiors .

To seduce a girl ,the ground staff boy passes himself off as a pilot and tells her about his imaginary stories in the sky above ; knowing that her parents are too common , she pretends they are nobles,no less :hence double subterfuge .....

It could have been funny and the excellent Raymond Bussières and Annette Poivre as the would be aristocrats provide the movie with efficient acting, but,as for the rest ,it's the coarse comedy in all its horror; best(worst) scene : to make the sergeant believe their pal is still in the barracks , the privates put a pig in his bed(to imitate his snoring?)
