Best DBZ movie to date
28 April 2015 | by (San Antonio) – See all my reviews

This is the best DBZ movie made to date. Everything about is on the money from the great villain, the teamwork, the humor, and the action. Everything falls right into place with little flaws for any DBZ fan.

Good: Broly is a great villain. His backstory is great as it mixes some sympathy while building him as a gigantic threat to our main characters. His look is memorable and I really like how despicable and powerful he is. The fight sequences are amazing with them being the most violent of all the movies. You can definitely feel the weight of the fights and the urgency to defeat Broly. The humor is also thankfully funny and placed well throughout while not overstaying its welcome. The length is appropriately long to develop the story and provide ample action. I also like that Vegeta showed some vulnerability.

Bad: The ending is typical DBZ which is a shame because it is so predictable.

Overall, while the ending is predictable, this is a great movie for DBZ fans and for people who want to get into this anime series.
