Short, but a lot of fun
28 April 2015 | by See all my reviews

When it comes to these DBZ movies, this one is pretty short. It can almost be an extended episode. However, it is very entertaining with good villains and awesome fight sequences.

Good: I like Android 13 and his two henchmen. They were weird enough and quirky enough without being annoying. They brought it with the fight sequences that once again got a lot of the characters. The pace was frenetic and really fun. Even the filler was amusing.

Bad: Like many of these movies, the timeline is all messed up, but dwelling on it will lead to a massive rant so I'll say it is confusing if you are up to date on your DBZ. While it is short in the right time frame, a little longevity could have worked. I also think that short purple android was a bit racist.

Overall, it has problems, but it is one of the more purely entertaining films in the DBZ catalog.
