But Koola and Goku are about to find out that they're both full of surprises. Written by
Beginning with this film, Piccolo wears a red belt like he does in the manga compared to the TV series and the first five Dragon Ball Z movies where he has a blue one. It stays like this for the remainder of his appearances in them. See more »
Hey dad, you've been there, what's it like on new Namek?
You know, it's a lot like old Namek, except there's more trees, at least in the part I saw. Anyway, we'll be sure to take the tour before we leave.
Great. If I'd known this would turn out to be a family vacation, I'd have kept my senzu beans and stayed home.

The Return of Cooler is a decent followup to The Revenge of Cooler as it further cements the presence of Cooler as a cool villain. This time, it interjects Namekians and Vegeta into the proceedings and the result is entertaining.
Good: I like that the filler is kept to a minimum. Most of the fighting is kept in perspective and most of the Z fighters participate. The main fight with Cooler and Goku is cool.
Bad: The story is very flimsy even by DBZ standards. The buildup is not there so it all feels like an afterthought unlike the previous movie that built up Cooler's presence and power.
Overall, it is a decent followup with cool action although the story is very weak that demeans Cooler a bit.
