Interminable lines warn the audience before this dud begins:"white slave trade is a terrible problem of today ,"they " have new methods,"they" can "legally work" ,the promises "they" make to girls are lures but they are smart ,so beware ,blah ,blah ,blah...
The plot (if we can call it so)is ceaselessly interrupted by cabaret numbers ,including Dalida singing her big hit of the late fifties "Bambino";as for the story,it's terribly acted (Jean Tissier was never as bad as here),poorly directed ,with a desultory script which cannot hold the viewer's attention. The lousiest of all American films Noirs is better than this rubbish .To be avoided .
