Well I liked this one....

While "Felix Dopes It Out" is a rather inappropriate cartoon, it is funny. Plus, the fact that it is so bad makes me appreciate it even more, as cartoons so often are nice and responsible--and this one never tries to be!

Felix meets a man who has a big red nose (actually, the cartoon is black & white--so use your imagination). The guy is miserable as people make fun of him because of this. So, Felix offers to help (which he frequently does in these old cartoons). He goes to the island of Boola Boola to learn the secret to make the nose change color. There he sees lots of stereotypical black villagers (I am pretty sure this will offend some) and Felix steals the secret. How is it inappropriate? Well, the guy apparently has a red nose because he's an alcoholic and the secret turns out to be 'drink more and the nose will turn blue'! Not exactly good advice and I am sure a few moms out there did NOT appreciate the film's message.

I liked the humor, as it was the typical surreal touches that made me laugh. Not one of the best Felix cartoons but a very nice one.
