Not the best of Annie Ondra
19 April 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is the worst German picture I saw Last night. It was confusing. Like most Anny Ondra vehicles, she is the boss . She has control over everything. This was a Czech print with Czech subtitles. Annie came from that region. She meets Victor at an ice scream parlor own by Will Dohm. They fall in love too quick. They both have fantasies of having a big wedding. They go to a quack doctor for compatibility. I don't understand German but I can tell if comedy is stale and it is. She work for Ariber Wascher. She goes to business party with her new BO. He gets uncomfortable and pulls her away from the party as she drunk and talking to Albert Florath, pudgy character stalwart actor . Oscar Sima is looking at a new paper. Which all of a sudden freezes as the headlines are shown turns into Czech language. Something about a investment or wealth. She's fed up with the business and quits . Victor has already left. Before you know it she at a Californian type style village with an Indian in it. Everyone is wearing cowboy hats. I got the impression that it took place in Paris. Paris to a Calfornia ranch? Call Donoogaville. Victor has a fight with Oscar, and kicks him out of the this built in studio false ranch. It's a dead give away how unrealistic this ranch is. Like they built it in a narrow part of the studio. Annie Ondra shows up they both fight and make up. Before you know it they are coming out of the fake church after they got married and the cowboys are cheering them. Ends abruptly. no styled ending with music. I bet you this flopped in German and the u.s. This is her worst. I wasted sleep on this.
