More Pardaillan

"Hardi Pardaillan" and "Le chevalier de Pardaillan both feature Michel Zevaco's hero.But it is not really the follow-up since most of the characters of the first film are not present here,including Pardaillan's worst enemy Fausta.

On the other hand,there's Valérie Lagrange ,who would team up with Gérard Barray again and became a French rock star in the eighties after singing easy-listening in the sixties when she was still making movies.

The story blends historical events (the assassination of the Duc de Guise) and fictional adventures.This is moderately entertaining stuff. You can see this second movie before the first one,because there's no real connection between them.
