Shooter star and former husband of Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe has found himself in the hot seat this week. The actor has never had a great reputation when it comes to his anger. Now, a former girlfriend is claiming he abused her quite severely, going as far as to file a lawsuit against the Cruel Intentions star.

Model Elsie Hewitt filed a lawsuit against Phillippe this past Monday. And the allegations she has made against him are pretty damaging. She claims the actor kicked her, punched her, and eventually threw her down a flight of stairs. The suit filed by the 21 year old struggling actress had this to say.

Attention all lovers of the 1990s and its corresponding cinematic gem, “Cruel Intentions”: A musical adaptation of the sardonic comedy is coming to New York, and the casting search for several principal roles is underway. Under the casting direction of Henry Russell Bergstein and casting associate Satchel Buck Jones, Equity Principal Auditions will be held in New York City Sept. 23. Female actors are needed for roles including Annette, Cecile, and Kathryn, played iconically in the film by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Talent is sought for some of the male roles, too, including Ronald and Greg. Those hired will be needed for rehearsals beginning Oct. 31, in preparation for a run slated for Nov. 17–Dec. 11. Neal Moritz Signs First-Look Deal With Paramount

Paramount Pictures has signed a multi-year, first-look agreement with Neal H. Moritz’s Original Film production company starting in 2019.

The pact, which covers feature films, means the Moritz, best known for the “Fast and Furious” franchise, is leaving his longtime home with Sony Pictures.

The signing was announced Wednesday by chairman and chief executive officer Jim Gianopulos. It’s the second major signing by Paramount in recent weeks following an agreement with Graham King to base his Gk Films with the studio.

The commencement of the first look deal begins on Jan. 1, 2019, at the expiration of Moritz’s contract with Sony Pictures. Until then, Moritz and Paramount have a second-look deal effective immediately.

“13 Reasons Why” is beefing up its cast, adding seven new actors to Season 2 of the Netflix hit, Variety has learned.

Anne Winters, Bryce Cass, Chelsea Alden, Allison Miller, Samantha LoganKelli O’Hara, and Ben Lawson have joined the second season of “13 Reasons Why,” which is currently in production. None of the new cast members are series regulars, but many will appear in majority of the episodes throughout the season.

The USA TV drama debuted last year with its first season but due to a freak accident to star Ryan Phillipe’s leg the production schedule for season two will have to change. Luckily for fans of the series, there will be no delays.

Selma Blair is officially heading back to TV.

The Cruel Intentions star took to Instagram on Thursday to confirm her new role in the upcoming Heathers reboot, airing on Paramount Network in 2018.

“Do I look like step Mother Theresa? @heathers #paramountnetwork2018,” the 45-year-old actress captioned a photo of herself in character.
