Storyline

Indeed a tribute, this movie tells the story of Princess Diana's last year, from May 1996 to her fatal accident in August 1997. It focuses on her love affairs with a Pakistani heart surgeon and with Dodi Al Fayed, on her battle with the press, her charity work, and her relationship with her sons. Many scenes re-enact well-known images and moments from this year, and the movie ends on the note that Diana was about to accept Dodi's proposal of marriage when the accident occurred. What a steaming pile of dung
18 April 2006 | by See all my reviews

This was quite simply an insult the memory of Princess Diana. The directing and writing could have been done better by a three year old. The acting is rubbish. No wonder Di's sister Sarah wanted this rubbish to be burnt before it was even aired. The 'content' which saw an English speaking "Dodi" tell "Diana" "We'll go back to England and make a baby daughter" No seriously. It was just dire from start to finish.I would rather poke my eyes out with hot sticks than have to sit through this again. Straight to video was it? I know I saw it on a Cable TV network. Please for the sake of our own eyes, never watch this or believe any good reviews.
