Storyline

Indeed a tribute, this movie tells the story of Princess Diana's last year, from May 1996 to her fatal accident in August 1997. It focuses on her love affairs with a Pakistani heart surgeon and with Dodi Al Fayed, on her battle with the press, her charity work, and her relationship with her sons. Many scenes re-enact well-known images and moments from this year, and the movie ends on the note that Diana was about to accept Dodi's proposal of marriage when the accident occurred. A tribute to the people's princess.
26 June 2006 | by (Singapore) – See all my reviews

She was the reason why my father gave me that name after I was born. All it took just a tragic car accident in Paris to make me trying to find out about my name and everything in between.

This was shown here like last year or something on the cable. But I know it's on the anniversary of her passing. Showing the final year of the life of a people's princess, and the one whom many around the world so adored.

I did remembered I did some reading on some of the things the late Princess of Wales had did and some of it did appeared in this tribute and other stuff I had never known as well. It's almost a little strange now to think that when she was killed in that car accident, her sons were still in their teens.

The late of Princess of Wales is still the reason why so many around the world still love her, even when she is already in the other world. But the craziness of the paparazzi is what up till now, I can never often understand at times. Maybe this is the price of fame. But whatever she did in those charities she is part of is for the sake to help others.

Recommended for those who want to know about her final moments in this world, far from outside the international media's eyes.
