A great soap from Manoel Carlos.
Great cast, story, sets and all that.
The opening is one my favorites, using a wonderful songs and pictures
from the life of Regina Duarte and Gabriela Duarte (mother and daughter
in real life and in the soap).
The biggest compliment goes to Suzana Vieira, perfect in her portrayal
of Branca, the main "villain" in the story and and amazing character
overall. Had some great one-liners, always ready to offend anyone she
wanted.
Since this kind of material is never re-releases, there's a good chance
that those who missed will never have the opportunity to check it. Too
bad, But if you do, trust me, you won't regret it. At least try to find
some of Branca's scenes.
