He goes and sees the woman he loves is still alive in that world and wants to stay. But when he discovers that this world has rules that differ from his world, he wants to leave but when he goes back to where the machine is, there's a fire and the machine is destroyed and the man who built it is killed. He later meets a woman from his world who also built a machine of her own but the officials there upon seeing her thinks she's crazy because her counterpart is alive and says she doesn't know her. A Twilight Zone-like movie!!!
23 January 1999 | by (São Paulo, Brazil) – See all my reviews

The basic idea of this movie is really interesting... A scientist found out the existence of an alternative world... two friends that are discontent with their lives, decides to turn their back to our world to live in this new world where there is no war, no money, and a new chance of life... But this world that at first seemed to be just perfect soon shows them its dark side. The script would fit perfectly into a Twilight Zone episode, but as its a 90 minutes long movie, the story becomes a bit boring. The direction and actors are really weak, but I found it still worth watching thanks to the "twisted" plot.
