an excellent historical war drama from Nazi Germany

Major Von Wendell, played by Willy Birgel, and his brother ,Heinrich Wendell, played by Martin Urtel of Venus in trial, and Oburst Dupont, played by Hubert Hubner,Are together at the estate of Wendells bird shooting. After the recreation they all go to Wendells house to eat lunch.Every thing looks pleasant but it isn't. The Prussians are fed up with Napolian controlling their country .They want to be independents, citizens are frustrated that the king hasn't done any thing just yet.Heinrch has a love interest, Krisitne Von Kuse mark, played by Harin Hardt..Paul Dahlke plays their butler, the Wendells,Rappel.Karl Von Wendel agrees that every one should wait a bit before making the wrong mistake.He is Friends of Henrietta Kirski, played by Maria Niklish, who married to Count Kerski ,played by Rudolph Fernau. He organizes a party to invite her and her husband and other hire ups.Kristine shows up.But the problems is when Herr Schlitling insist that war be declared against Danish Napolian. His brother Heinrich agrees with it against his brothers wishes. Well they start a war against Napoleon against the kings wishes.Only to looses by Danish troupes. The Prussian army ends up in prison and Napy demands that they be executed except one Heinrich. As they send his men to their death while Heinrich is laying in a cot is injured in prison he hears his team being executed and screams. Back at home Kristine has gotten ill cause she hasn't heard Heinrich in Ages. Karl promoted by Napoleon in a new rank moves to Paris. Later on is when he hears through Count Kerski that his brother is still alive and in Prison for life. This is when Karl plans to get him out of prison.He does something Dangerous that will cost him his life. At first he sneaks to the prison and bribes the guard to see his brother. After first his brother just denies his existence like he never seen him before. Then He tells him about how Kristine hasn't given up on him and then he remembers. He tells him about the plans. Well the plans go through but Karl pays the price. He is charged with treason and he excepts his death penalty stoically.Once Heinrich is out of prison , He meets Kristine at the cemetery where she giving flowers to the burial site of his brother. Propganda message . Germans must sacrifice their lives for the third Reich
