Storyline

Inspector Varun Saxena successfully apprehends Pilot Baba's son for running over and killing a fellow police inspector by the name of Deodhar. But Pilot's cunning advocate, Indrajit Diwan, has his son proved innocence, and set free. When Varun confides of his frustrations with his garage-mechanic friend, Suraj, he decides to study law and assist Varun. But when Suraj is arrested by Varun for attempting to rape Mrs. Deodhar, their friendship ends, and Suraj is sentenced to several years in prison. And then Mrs. Deodhar is killed and the evidence points to Varun, who is also arrested, charged and imprisoned in the same prison as Varun, who cannot wait to avenge his humiliation. And this time there are no rules - whatsoever. Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)

horrible movie with absolutely stupid songs
12 March 2011 | by (Hong Kong) – See all my reviews

dhaal the battle of law against law is an stupid idiotic movie I saw yesterday. It has many good scenes and gives the viewers a message. It tells us how police officers risk their lives to arrest convicts and hooligans but the main bad boss ends up getting his lawyer to free the arrested guys, this is the basic story here. The cop Vinod Khanna is frustrated that no matter how many arrests he makes, the boss Amrish Puri will free his guys with the help off Danny as a lawyer. Now coming to the ratings of this movie, this movie was an average hit, did some time in the box office. The angry role of Vinod Khanna is great with some strong dialogues but fails to impress the crowd with the action scenes as he is totally out of shape and looks obese. The role of Sunil Shetty is stupid, from the beginning until the problem in the middle, he only sings songs, impresses the ladies with some cheesy comedy, it is very annoying. Well the character of Shetty gets better after he is in jail, before that it is just stupid. Gautami did well, the other heroine and the bad heroine did terrible, the villains were all typecast. In those days, Sunil Shetty was not considered a good actor, he may have done fantastic in movies like Mohra but this is terrible, the message is well delivered but the story has many plot holes and the songs are indeed stupid, I suggest not to waste any money on this movie, and I forgot to mention that the climax in the airfield was also stupid hope no one buys this movie if you want to watch movies with messages about troubled law against law watch tirangaa or maybe tridev or watch some amitabh classics don't watch this crap
