Plot Summary

Bent on marrying off her daughter, Krinio, to the elegant young aristocrat, Alexandros Harisis, the strong-willed Thiresia Veneti enlists the help of an unexpected ally. Wandering the narrow streets of the Athenian district of Plaka, the happy-go-lucky seller of clay jugs, and delightful matchmaker, uncle Giannis, sets his mind on succeeding, unbeknownst to him, however, that fair Krinio is already head-over-heels in love with the handsome, but impecunious, medical student, Loukas. Of course, this secret affair doesn't sit well with the wealthy suitor, who, much to everyone's surprise, is harbouring a shocking secret. Can the well-meaning potter right a wrong, and let love shine? Written by Nick Riganas
